(15% new French oak) Brilliant red. Spicy raspberry, cherry and floral scents are complicated by savory herb and smoky mineral notes. Gently sweet and energetic on the palate, offering juicy red/dark berry flavors and a rose pastille accent that builds on the back half. On the primary side, delivering solid finishing thrust, sneaky tannins and very good, floral-driven persistence.
