Darviot-Perrin

Pierre-Antonin Darviot, the son of Didier and Geneviève’, took over the domaine in 2020 after receiving his oenological diploma at the “Viti” in Beaune.

He’s excited to perpetuate the family tradition after a distinguished career in the French Foreign Office. He is in his early 30s and has energy, ambition, and drive in abundance. Didier is still present in an advisory role regarding the vinifying phase but has full confidence in Pierre-Antonin for managing the Domaine on his own.

He intends to maintain the style of wine his father produced. However, he also has new ideas for his Pinot Noir and wishes to showcase his red wines more intensely than before. We think the history of the plots and these juicy, complex red Burgundies deserve just as much attention as the whites.

The domaine will be certified organic (from 2022) and also continues some biodynamic practices.
