Coonawarra

The terra rossa, or red earth, that characterizes this region is the calling card of Coonawarra. This soil, along with the hot and arid climate have proved able to produce a distinctive and delicious style of Cabernet Sauvignon with herbal notes recalling Australia's native eucalyptus, which grows in the region.
