Clare Valley
The Clare Valley is one of the few regions in the world that can boast of producing great Riesling as well as great Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon. Grown on slate and limestone soils, Clare Valley Rieslings are firmly dry with notes of lime and minerals. Cabernet and Shiraz from Clare Valley is smooth and rich, but with good acidity from the cool nights at altitude.
