The 2025 Sauvignon Blanc is punchy and creamy on the nose. In fact, it is wholly inviting, and the combination of attributes here is a common one for premium Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. This wine was sent to me as part of the 2025 Appellation Marlborough Wine (AMW) Collection, which annually features 12 cuveés that top the tasting submitted for the show, held in Blenheim each year. I have judged on the panel for this award (in 2022, from memory), and the process and the results are worth taking note of. On the palate, this is crunchy and fresh, laden with passion fruit, green pea, green apple and briny acidity that courses throughout. This is very good. 12.5% alcohol, sealed under screw cap.
