Mathilde Chapoutier 2023 Selection 'Emmarina' Languedoc Rouge 750ml

The 2023 Languedoc Emmarina checks in as 60% Grenache and 40% Syrah. This ruby/purple-hued effort has tons of fruit as well as medium-bodied richness, ripe, polished tannins, and no hard edges. Black raspberries, red plums, peppery herbs, and some floral/violet notes all define the aromatics, and it's going to shine over the coming 4-5 years or so.
