The 2017 Blaufränkisch Neckenmarkter unfiltriert is fine, intense and fresh on the spicy and intensely fruity as well as earthy nose with its dark berry and cherry aromas and the refined spicy notes. Silly textured, fresh and elegant on the palate, this is a charmingly pure, fresh and salty red with remarkable finesse and lingering salinity. The tannins are finely grained and elegant, and the finish is very long. This Neckenmarkter is sourced from gneiss, slate and limestone soils from south-facing sites. Very long, pure and salty and highly tensioned.
