Appellation: Chablis Grand Cru Grape variety: 100% Chardonnay
The ripe and agreeably fresh aromas of green fruit, essence of pear and tidal pool are trimmed in moderate wood toast. There is better mid-palate density to the more powerful and muscular flavors that possess a generous mouthfeel before tightening up on the impressively persistent if slightly rustic finale. This built-to-age Bougros has the structure to repay at least a decade of keeping, perhaps even a bit more if you enjoy well-aged Chablis.
