Cono Sur Bicicleta Merlot 750ml

The bicycle on the label is literal: Cono Sur's vineyard crews ride them between rows, part of a sustainability record that includes carbon-neutral delivery and B Corp certification. Founded in 1993 and now Chile's most prolific exporter, the Bicicleta range is Cono Sur's everyday tier. Merlot from the Central Valley, mostly stainless with a light touch of oak. Deep ruby. Blackberry, ripe plum and cherry lead, with mocha, vanilla and a faintly herbal, leafy edge behind. Medium-bodied, supple, soft-tannined and juicy, finishing clean and dry.

Pairing: burgers, beef fajitas, roast pork, mushroom risotto, mild cheeses.
