An absolute favourite.
100% Pinot Noir. A vinous rosé Champagne, very dry and focused, with flavors of sour cherry, blackberry compote, mineral and freshly ground white pepper. The texture is very refined, but there's a lot of snap to the acidity here, giving this a vibrancy overall. Try with light food. Drink now through 2019.
Dhondt's NV Rosé de Saignee is a true reference point for the style. Rich, vinous and impeccably layered in the glass, the Rosé boasts stunning depth and richness, with intense bold flavors and impeccable balance. Autumn leaves, sweet red cherries, mint, tobacco and spices are all laced together beautifully in the glass. This is Pinot from Champagne at its best.
