The Voliero 2018 Rosso di Montalcino offers a simple and naked interpretation of the Sangiovese grape. Summer cherry, cassis, plum and a hint of eucalyptus are a few of the simple fruit flavors you taste here. The wine is thin in terms of texture, with snappy and fresh acidity on the close. Thanks to that direct and simple freshness, I could imagine this as a pairing partner to a really fatty food like cheese fondue. This Rosso ages in oak for five months. It was bottled in September 2019 and released in January 2020. Some 5,200 bottles were filled.

We use Canada Post for the majority of deliveries and a courier for those nearest our location. If you are not at home when Canada Post attempts delivery of your package, they will leave a note with the nearest pickup location. By law, we cannot ship outside of the province and packages delivered by Canada Post cannot be left on the doorstep. Orders for downtown Vancouver may arrive the same or next day depending on time of order. Order cut-off is generally 10am PST on a best-effort basis.
