On the slopes of Cerro Punta Alta in the Cafayate Desert, this malbec comes from soils rich in silt and stones and appears to collect all of the sun from the zone, with flavors of lush, ripe black fruit. A wine born of the sun of the zone, but with enough tannins to handle lamb.
