Five different “micro-parcels” in Villabuena de Álava, all of which are approaching their one hundredth birthday, are the source of this wonderful field blend of mostly Viura with Calagraño, Garnacha Blanca, Rojal and other white grapes. Structured, textured and beautifully balanced, it has layers of aniseed, quince and lemon zest and a dusting of aromatic spices.

The white 2024 Nahikun Blanco was produced with a blend of grapes from five different micro plots in the village of Villabuena de Álava, planted with Viura, Calagraño, Rojal, Garnacha Blanca, etc., vineyards that also have red varieties, but the red varieties are fermented and bottled separately. 2024 was a very good year for whites. This fermented in well-seasoned 500-liter barrels that do not give aromas but texture, and the wine matured in these barrels for eight months. It's clean, precise and elegant, delineated and detailed, complex and harmonious. It has a moderate 11.5% alcohol and great freshness and acidity, a pH of 3.25 and 5.8 grams of acidity, after a thorough ripeness and full development of aromas and flavors. There's no trace of oak, just a sense of great purity. 1,800 bottles produced. It was bottled in March 2025.
