Quinta de Murta 2017 Bucelas Arinto 750ml

The 2017 Branco is an unoaked Arinto coming in at 14% alcohol. A rather ripe Arinto this year, this is fruity and fleshy but without as much zing and zest, perhaps. That changes to a considerable extent with air and warmth, as the underlying structure here makes it case. It lingers more nicely on the finish. That aside, this drinks great and tastes great. It should be popular, lively and pleasing this summer. The price is right too. Arinto normally ages well. It can certainly be held for a few years, maybe more—although this vintage might not be the most age-worthy in the brand.
