Moritz Kissinger OHM 2023 Chardonnay P.Blanc 750ml

The 2023 Null Ω (white)—say "zero ohm"—is a cuvée of limestone Chardonnay from the Rhine front and Pinot Blanc from Uelversheim's loess/clay soils. Fermented spontaneously, the deep, complex and intense wine was aged sur lie in 225- and 500-liter wooden barrels for 10 months. The youngest release is dense and intense on the nose and pairs fine, fresh and ripe fruit aromas with calcareous notes. Rich but refined and with a delicate or even smooth, well-integrated acidity, this is a full-bodied, intense and textured, mouth-filling yet elegant and balanced "Burgundy" from the Rhine. The finish keeps the tension and intensity and develops remarkable complexity with aromatic melon and yellow fruit aromas on a distinctive mineral background. This is an excellent wine to enjoy with food, preferably richer dishes. Biodynamic. 11.5% stated alcohol. Diam 5 cork.
