The 2021 Villa Gemma Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo Superiore is a brighter shade of ruby than usual, wafting up with a pretty bouquet of wild strawberries, roses and sweet smoke. It’s soft-textured and round in feel with energizing acidity and a sweet-and-sour tug of tension. This finishes long and lightly structured through the lip-smacking finale, as nuances of spiced citrus fade.
