For this wine, Jean-Paul Jamet aims for more immediate pleasure from the fruit while preserving its ageing potential. Grapes are mostly destemmed and aged up to 16 months in used oak barrels. Aromas of blueberry, licorice, and olive are amplified alongside mineral hints. Flavours of fresh blueberry, cool red cherry, black pepper, and violet. Production is limited to about 300 cases. Drink now or hold for another few years.
