The 2023 Grüner Veltliner Kammern is from the younger vines in the Lamm, Grub, Renner and Gaisberg sites, whole-bunch-pressed, sedimented and fermented spontaneously, still slightly cloudy, in stainless steel. A slight reduction blows off to reveal savory, salty yeast. The palate adds just an edge of Reine Claude plum but puts that peppery, crushed heb savoriness to the fore; the finish is salty and lemony. (Bone-dry)
