Single malt Scotch whisky, distilled at Ardmore in 2013 and independently bottled by Langside for the Hepburn's Choice range in 2020. The whisky spent its six year maturation in two wine casks, imparting a rich fruity depth to this peaty Highlander. A total of 669 bottles were produced.
Nose: Honeyed nuts and toasted brioche, candied orange, raisins, and spice.
Palate: Warming peat smoke with gentle vegetal wafts of sea breeze. Sweet, acidic grapes and citrus combine with toasted oak and bonfire ash.
Finish: Earthen peat, boozy fruit, oaty biscuits, baking spices, pepper, and cut grass.
