Heinrich 2017 Edelgraben Blaufrankisch Leithaberg 750ml

Heinrich's 2017 Blaufränkisch Ried Edelgraben opens with a pure, intense, concentrated and meaty nose from crystalline soils (red slate), and it's nicely reductive. Fleshy, with graphite and slate notes, this is a silky, elegant and fresh red wine with an intense, savory and long finish that is full of energy, salt, tension and promise. A superb red again from Heike and Gernot Heinrich.
