The Clos belonged to the Abbaye de Cluny, but the vines were abandoned at phylloxera. Now there are 3ha which they have replanted (2008) at the top of the hill. Exposed east above the hamlet of Sagy on oolitic limestone with not much topsoil. Mid yellow colour with a reductive bacon fat note. Concentrated white and yellow fruit on the palate, good grip behind, a complete and concentrated Mâcon.
