A recently purchased young vine plot in Mâcon Chardonnay. High on the slope. The grapes tasted ripe but sugar development was blocked by the drought, so this is in fact just 11.5% alcohol. One third tank/barrel/foudre. Pretty lemon and lime, with a slight reduction on the nose. No great concentration but an attractive, light yellow fruit. An easy and early drinker.
