This shows aromas of plums and cola candy. The palate is medium- to full-bodied, round yet incisive, delicate and subtle. Reminiscent of Oregon rather than Central Otago in style. Lovely balance.

Tasting of fresh-picked blueberries and baking spice, the 2023 Pinot Noir Grand Mere is from 115 and 667 clones of Pinot Noir, both chosen for their elegance in this relatively cool climate and these high-altitude conditions. The blueberries are accentuated by crisper elements of cherry and strawberry, with a silky texture and ample length to enjoy now and suggest further aging, through 2033.
