The 2023 "La Clef de Sol" Saint-Joseph Blanc is a rich and precisely crafted Northern Rhône white, composed of 95% Marsanne and 5% Roussanne. On the nose, it offers a complex bouquet of citrus, apricot, and acacia flowers, layered with deeper notes of beeswax, cardamom, and baked apple tart. The palate is generous and full-bodied, featuring a "chiselled" texture and a viscous mouthfeel that carries flavors of almond and dried fruit into a long finish marked by toasted vanilla. Fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged for 12 months in oak, this vintage is exceptionally well-balanced, providing immediate enjoyment while possessing the structure to age gracefully through 2033.
