This is also notably ripe, if perhaps not quite as ripe, with its array of liqueur-like red and black cherry and discreet spice nuances. There is a slightly sleeker mouthfeel to the admirably concentrated medium-bodied flavors that conclude in a robust, rustic and slightly warm finale that is just a bit more structured. This mildly chewy effort will need at least a few years of keeping first.
