Description
From a parcel planted in 1936, the terrific 2019 Rully 1er Cru Champs Cloux unwinds in the glass with notions of cherries, sweet soil tones, spices, raw cocoa and peonies. Medium to full-bodied, velvety and layered, it's deep and concentrated, with bright acids, powdery tannins and a long, penetrating finish.
