A blend of 55% Grenache, 25% Syrah (aged in new wood), 15% Mourvèdre and 5% Cinsault, the 2020 Chateauneuf du Pape Le Mas is the Vacheron family's first vintage at this newly acquired estate. Ripe cherries and thyme mark the nose, along with hints of rose petals, while the palate is full-bodied and silky, finishing plush and velvety, with a touch of oak. It should drink well on release and for at least a decade thereafter.
