I always love the white from this estate, and their 2021 Châteauneuf Du Pape Blanc is another winner. Honeyed peach, acacia flowers, brioche, and plenty of spicy notes all emerge on the nose, and it hits the palate with medium-bodied richness, a round, elegant mouthfeel, nicely integrated acidity, and a great finish. Worth a case purchase, it’s ideal for drinking over the coming 2-4 years, and I have no doubt it will evolve longer. The blend is 70% Roussanne and 30% Bourboulenc that saw full malolactic fermentation and was aged half in demi-muids and half in stainless steel.
