More subtle though still easily perceptible oak influence is present on the more floral-suffused aromas that feature notes of Granny Smith apple, spice, wet stone and a whiff of iodine. The mouthfeel of the middle weight flavors is notably finer, though not denser, while retaining good delineation to the stony and sleek finale. This is still quite primary though if it can add depth with a few years of bottle age, it should be quite good.
