Xalar means "to enjoy, to have fun happily," and the name fits. Built on a base of White Grenache wine and mistela, a sweet blend of grape must and spirit that lends richness without heaviness, it is fortified and rested in French oak. Dried flowers, cinnamon, citrus peel, baking spice and hibiscus carry through to a pleasantly bitter finish. A genuinely distinctive Spanish sipper.
