Chateau de Bord 2016 Cotes du Rhone Villages "Laudun" 750ml

A 60-40 Grenache-Syrah blend that was partially aged in barrel (the rest was in foudres and tanks), the 2016 Cotes du Rhone Villages Laudun Chateau de Bord hints at crushed stone, pencil shavings and dark chocolate on the nose. It's full-bodied and super ripe on the palate, where at times it seems almost fudge-like, yet it also delivers bright raspberry fruit and a long, zesty finish.
