Based on a perpetual reserve begun in 2011, this Extra Brut cuvée opens with an intense nose of wild strawberries, redcurrants, and dried rose petals, balanced by subtle notes of peat, beeswax, and fresh bread. The palate is generous and textured, delivering a succulent, fruity experience dominated by red berries, grilled apple, and citrus pith, all animated by a pillowy mousse. It possesses a firm mineral core with a precise, saline snap on the finish that reflects its high-elevation, north-facing vineyard location.
