A ripe and airy nose combines notes of poached pear, just sliced apple, iodine, lemon rind and a pretty floral hint. The rich, generously proportioned and relatively easy-going medium-bodied flavors tighten up noticeably on the notably dry if only lightly austere finale. This is a wine that could easily be enjoyed young though because it could use more depth, a few years of keeping are suggested.
