Benjamin Leroux 2021 Chambolle Musigny 750ml

A bright and expressive nose combines notes of just crushed red cherries with hints of lilac, fennel and a similar whiff of exotic tea. As befits a wine mostly from Les Athets, this is rich and solidly powerful with good mid-palate density to the middleweight flavors that boast a robust if not rustic finish. This is not a classic Chambolle of lace and grace but it certainly does not lack for character.
