Castello Banfi began in 1978 as two Italian-American brothers, John and Harry Mariani, set off on their journey to create a modern winery in Italy. The name Banfi is from Giovanni Mariani Sr's maternal aunt Teodolinda Banfi, who grew up alongside the man who would eventually become Pope Pius XI in 1922. On the nose, aromas of pear, apple, and citrus. More of the same on the soft palate, with lively acidity and a persistent finish. Ideal with seafood or on its own as an aperitif.

We use Canada Post for the majority of deliveries and a courier for those nearest our location. If you are not at home when Canada Post attempts delivery of your package, they will leave a note with the nearest pickup location. By law, we cannot ship outside of the province and packages delivered by Canada Post cannot be left on the doorstep. Orders for downtown Vancouver may arrive the same or next day depending on time of order. Order cut-off is generally 10am PST on a best-effort basis.
