Antinori 2022 Solaia IGT 750ml

The 2022 Solaia pours a youthful, inky, saturated purple hue and is already beautifully approachable, with supple tannins and an expressive profile of black plum, suede, floral perfume, and sweet earth. Full-bodied, it is both weightless and velvety, with impressive length and freshness. Notes of dark stone, granitic earth, mocha, and dark cocoa emerge on the palate, carried by a mouthwatering saline edge that adds lift and balance. Notably, this is the first vintage to come in under 14% alcohol, and it shows in the wine’s energy and restraint, challenging the perception of the vintage as overly warm. Drink 2027-2047.
