Anthony Buchanan 2024 Sauvignon Blanc 750ml

Sadly, no Pinot Blanc (our number one selling wine) so we thought this would be a great opportunity to make Sauvignon Blanc in more of the French style as opposed to the Kiwis version that's typically 100% stainless steel fermented. Direct press and allowed to settle before being racked to 60% stainless and 40% third fill French oak barrels. This wine is bursting with zesty citrus, grapefruit and lemon grass and there's a touch of a leesy component to the nose and palate that adds complexity to the wine. The combination of the cool stainless ferment and the warmer barrel ferment adds a nuance of texture and flavours that I really find appealing, and I think you will to. If you are a fan of last years Estate Pinot Gris and our Pinot Blanc then you will love this wine. Cheers, Anthony
