While this 100% Grenache wine was made from grapes grown in Washington’s Horse Heaven Hills AVA, its freshness and streaks of minerality showcase its cool-climate origins. In 2024, 1 Mill Road’s Ben and Katie Bryant ventured down to Coyote Canyon Vineyard after frost knocked out their vintage. On the palate, it’s elegant, bright, and lean, laden with dried strawberries, fresh-cut herbs, saffron, and cranberries. The aromatics are timid off the bat, but open up as time passes.
