Soos Creek 2014 Champoux Vineyard Red Wine 750ml

Healthy bright ruby. Aromas of plum, cherry, tobacco and alluring brown spices. More red fruits than black on the palate, with redcurrant, herb and licorice flavors complemented by a sexy earth note; with aeration, darker notes of blueberry, licorice and lavender emerged. The young-vines tannins are a bit edgier than those of the Terrible Beauty Cabernet but make their presence felt later. This savory, reasonably fine-grained wine should be a late bloomer.
