The 2020 Cerasuolo di Vittoria is dark and smoky, with black currants and crushed blueberries offset by a hint of animal musk. This is a soft and pure yet energetic expression, with a mix of tart wild berries and sour citrus tones adding tension. It tapers off long and floral, with a pleasant inner sweetness complicated by a staining of salty minerals. This is so incredibly fresh. The 2020 Cerasuolo di Vittoria is a blend of 60% Nero d’Avola and 40% Frappato.
