Clos de Sixte 2019 Lirac Rouge 750ml

This year’s version of the Clos de Sixte Lirac is a blend of 50% Grenache, 35% Syrah and 15% Mourvedre. As always, this wine drinks like a Cotes-du-Rhone on steroids. Deep garnet colour in the close with aromas or ripe red and black fruit explode from the glass. The wine has a nicely balanced mouthfeel and has flavours that tend towards blackcurrant with a hint of spice. This is full-bodied wine that is can be enjoyed in its youth and will easily keep for a decade. Another knockout wine.
