Description
Vigneti del Sole is Italian for “Vineyards of the Sun”, and the vineyards in the province if Abruzzo on Italy’s central Adriatic coast are most certainly that. The Montepulciano grape thrives there, and produces wines of joyous berry fruit, like this one, that are meant to be enjoyed rather than considered. Throwing a party? A few bottles to accompany your platter of antipasti will have you covered. Alone on a work night with a bowl of spaghetti? A glass or two of this Montepulciano d’Abruzzo is no less appropriate.
