Okanagan Crushpad 2022 Narrative Red 750ml

Christine Coletta and Steve Lornie's Summerland winery works its 375 certified organic acres at Switchback and Garnet Valley Ranch with a deliberately low-intervention hand under winemaker Matt Dumayne: wild yeasts, concrete tanks, clay amphorae and large neutral casks rather than new oak. Narrative is a Merlot and Cabernet Franc blend showing the Okanagan's signature red fruit and distinct herbal edge, with soft tannins and balanced acidity. Easy drinking, and priced accordingly.

Pairing: braised short ribs, soy-glazed pork, barbecued meats, roasted root vegetables.
