Grande Marque Champagne Dinner at Blue Water

Marquis Wine Cellars is kicking off the holiday season in truly sparkling fashion. On Tuesday, November 3, 2026, join us at Blue Water Café for our Grande Marque Champagne Dinner, as we pop the corks on eight of the world’s most celebrated Champagnes. From Krug and Cristal to Dom Pérignon and La Grande Dame, this is a rare chance to sample and savour some of the greatest Champagnes being made today, alongside four courses from Blue Water Café’s kitchen.

Guiding us through the evening as Master of Ceremonies is Sean Nelson, an award-winning Vancouver sommelier, wine educator and consultant. Sean is an Advanced Sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers, a WSET Level 3 graduate and a French Wine Scholar. In 2018, he won both BC Sommelier of the Year and the Somm Slam at the International Chefs Congress in New York. Today he runs Somm Wine Guy Consulting as an educator, speaker, consultant and event host. He pairs deep technical knowledge with a genuine passion for the people, places, history and stories that make great wine compelling.
