Domaine Servin 2023 Chablis "Vaucopin" 1er Cru 750ml

Appellation: Chablis 1er Cru Grape variety: 100% Chardonnay

Smoke-tinged aromas include those of mineral reduction, citrus confit and plenty of petrol character. The sleek, vibrant and delicious flavors are not especially concentrated but they do offer a lovely mid-palate texture that contrasts noticeably with the firm if slightly edgy finale. My sense is that this will smooth out after a few months in bottle and my rating offers the benefit of the doubt.
