Domaine Les Monts Fournois 2020 Coteaux Champenois Blanc 750ml

From the Premier Cru of Ludes, the 2020 Coteaux Champenois Blanc is from the top parcel of this lieu-dit and pours a medium straw hue, opening to aromas of white peach as well as savory notes of chamomile, saline, and broth. Unfiltered, it’s medium-bodied, with a pithy texture, a bright core of acidity, and lovely density throughout. A long and persistent finish, it has a lot going on with notes of honeycomb. It’s going to have a serious longevity if given a chance, although I imagine people will be eager to crack into it. Drink 2025-2037. Two barrels were produced.
