The 2021 Domaine Curry Founders Blend is a rich, full-bodied Napa Valley red blend that prioritizes smoothness and "varietal inclusivity" over the structure of a single-grape wine. Built on a base of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, this vintage is further layered with Syrah, Petite Sirah, and Malbec to provide added depth and a luscious mouthfeel. 

 

The wine displays a brilliant, deep ruby color and opens with an inviting bouquet of red and black fruits, underscored by warm notes of baking spice, vanilla, and light toast. On the palate, it is exceptionally smooth and "luscious," offering a "soft boldness" where the tannins are subtle yet present enough to provide a full, velvety texture.
