Domaine Bachelet 2023 Gevrey-Chambertin V.V. 750ml

The wood regimen isn't subtle if not dominant on the markedly earth-inflected nose of notably ripe but fresh dark currant and poached plum aromas. There is once again good volume and richness to the solidly concentrated medium-bodied flavors that coat the mouth on the powerful, lightly austere and firm finale. This is a dense 2023 with lovely balance - one to strongly consider for its level.
