Two Hands 2008 Max’s Garden Shiraz Heathcote 750ml

Inky ruby. Raspberry, dark chocolate, cocoa powder, potpourri, licorice and white pepper on the nose. Rich, ripe and sappy, with no suggestion of heaviness to the vivid red berry preserve flavors. There's a grenache-like character to this wine that I like. Finishes long and expansive, with firm but sweet tannins and lingering spiciness.
