Made with organic fruit from vines planted in the 1980s, the Terreno 2019 Chianti Classico Gran Selezione A Sofia has a slightly sweet side with candied cherry, dried blueberry and something that reminds me of ice tea with peach. The wine shows a dense mouthfeel, and the tannins are softer but also richer compared to the more focused approach that you get in the Riserva.
